If your problem
is not how to write questions but rather what to write about, this is a good place to start looking.
Format
- Wordpad, Notepad, Word Perfect, or Word
- Times New Roman, 10pt. font
Tossups
- Should be longer than four lines, no more than six lines
- Place answers in boldface and underline on new line, with prompts and unacceptable answers in parentheses
* Ex: Answer: George Washington
Bonuses
- Point values of 5, 10, 15
- At least two sections, no more than five sections, all sections add up to 30 points
- Before each section, put the point value in brackets
* Ex: [10] Who is buried in Grant's Tomb?
- Place answer to each section in bold on a new line
Sample Questions

Peer Editing
- Bring in completed questions to practice (even if you haven't finished them all) for other players to review.
- Feel free to ask any returning members for advice or to proofread for difficulty, structure, etc.
- Remember, the goal is better questions.
