Home Football Game Weekends

Due to the tremendous demand for rooms at the Reitz Union Hotel during University of Florida home football games, the following policies and conditions apply:

• A two-night(Friday & Saturday) minimum stay is required.
• Reservation priority for football weekends is determined by a lottery.
  • Lottery applications may be requested by telephone, e-mail, or U.S. Mail.
  • Lottery applications are sent out each Spring Semester (February/March).
  • Lottery applications must be postmarked by April 1st.
  • Notification of lottery results will be sent out by May 15th.
• Total advance payment for all reserved rooms will be due by June 1st to hold rooms.
• Reservations must be canceled at least 14 days prior to 6:00 p.m. of the day of arrival to receive a full refund.
• A waiting list for each game is established one month prior to each game weekend, opening at 8:00 a.m.
• Rooms awarded in the lottery are not transferable. Proper identification will be required at check-in.
• Parking in proximity to the J. Wayne Reitz Union is not guaranteed or assured.
