Academy Managed Care Pharmacy

Categories: Pharmacy

Purpose: The purpose of this organization is to help educate pharmacy students about the field of Managed Care Pharmacy. This is to be done through meetings, speakers from local Managed Care Organizations, trips to AMCP Mid-Year and Annual Conferences, “field trips” to local managed care organizations, and other student social activities.

Activities: Monthly meetings with speakers from various Managed Care Organizations

Annual Conferences with the National AMCP Organization

"Field trips" to visit different managed care settings

Social activities and fundraisers

Shadowing and Internship opportunities.

Affiliations: Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy National Organization
