Categories: Natural Resources and Environment
Purpose: 1. To promote student interest in environmental issues, and 2. To provide an avenue for the exchange of ideas between students and the members of both the Florida Air & Waste Management Association and the Air & Waste Management Association, and 3. To adopt by reference, the objectives as stated in the Association?s Constitution and Bylaws, and 4. To adopt by reference, the objective as stated in the National Association?s Constitution and Bylaws, and 5. To promote an avenue for exchange of ideas between students and professionals in environment field.
Activities: 1. Organize industrial tours
2. Send students to various environmental state and national level conferences
3. Organize poster symposium for the environmental students
4. Invite guest speakers to talk about various environmental issues
