Categories: Medicine

Purpose: To educate students, faculty, staff and our community about issues facing medicine and to advocate for patients and physicians for the sake of improving healthcare. Also, to provide an opportunity for medical students to interact with practicing physicians to exchange ideas and serve our community.

Activities: Hold monthly general meetings, attend conferences of the AMA and FMA, and have monthly gatherings with the Alachua county medical society. Also, do at least 2 community outreach activities per semester, with the expectation of more.
