American Meteorological Society- Gator Chapter

Purpose: To supplement the education of the meteorological sciences at UF.

Activities: Biweekly meetings to discuss recent weather related events and other matters pertaining to the club, attend conferences, storm chase, educate the community and provide a way to socialize with other students interested in meteorology and climatology. Also, academically assist students taking meteorology classes.

Affiliations: We are currently becoming an official chapter in affiliation with the American Meteorological Society.
