Heal the World

Purpose: The primary purpose of Heal the World is to heighten awareness of various global health and socio-economic issues within the community, faculty, and student body through several diverse service events. Our organization will strive to empower those with the knowledge about communal and global health disparities.

Activities: Heal the World participates in several service activities such as Interface, Pleasant Place, cancer fundraising through Disney Marathon and Relay for Life, volunteering at Florida Diabetes Camp and Camp Boggy Creek, working with Habitat for Humanity, and volunteering at local clinics. Additionally, we work to host several philanthropic events throughout the year in order to encourage student involvement. On a global scale, students will embark on International Service Trips to various impoverished nations. This allows our students to learn and raise awareness both locally and internationally.
