Come spend spring break with TRiP! Ski the country's most frequented resort for an extremely low price. Meet new friends and learn the joys of cross country skiing after which you can warm up to the hearth of a fire. REGISTRATIONS ENDS: Tuesday, November 24th.
This is a ski trip for participants of all levels. Winter Park accomodates beginners as well as the most advances if skiers. We will be staying in comfort at the Winter Park mountain lodge, where hot tubs and pools abound. This package also includes ground transportation to and from the base of the mountain, as well as one day of cross country skiing.

* Any sign-up between October 30 and November 24 must make the entire payment at once.
* Consistent with TRiP policy, no refunds or exchanges will be issued.
Cost includes:
Lodging: 7 nights of comfortable lodging at Beaver Village Condos
Transportation: airfare from Jacksonville to Denver, shuttle from Denver to resort
* Students must provide own transportation to Jacksonville International Airport (carpooling will be facilitated), checked bag fee = $15 (1st), $25 (2nd)
Skiing: 5-day lift ticket at Winterpark Resort (143 trails, 25 chairlifts)
1-day of cross country skiing at Devil’s Thumb Ranch (#1 XC destination in US
Rentals: no rentals are covered in the cost of the TRiP
* Students are free to bring their own equipment, however, Northwest Airlines charges checked baggage fees of $15 for the first bag and $25 for the second
Lesson: no downhill lessons are included,
1 free cross country ski lesson is included
Food: participants are expected to cover their own cost of food (kitchen available in condo)
Excursions: the town of WinterPark has many beautiful restaurants and tourist sites available to students
Participants should bring:
- all clothing required
- any ski equipment they intend on using (fee for checked luggage)

Leave Gainesville at 5 am Saturday, March 6 and drive to JAX. Fly to Denver. Ski at Winter Park Sunday thru Tuesday. Wednesday: XC ski at Devil's Thumb. Downhill again Thursday and Friday before flying home Saturday morning.
Warm clothing, synthetic layers, skis (if you have them), ice skates, money for food and rentals.
Airfare from JAX to DEN, 7 nights lodging at Beaver Village Condos, 5 day lift ticket, all ground transportation, and a day of cross country skiing at the #1 destination in the U.S.: Devil's Thumb Ranch.
