About the Game Room Tailgate Experience
The Game Room Tailgate is a premium indoor tailgate experience held inside the Reitz Union Game Room during the four hours leading up to kickoff for Gator home football games. Located just steps from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, this private event space offers air-conditioned comfort, modern amenities, and a wide range of activities—including bowling, billiards, console gaming, and HD TVs streaming pregame coverage, making it the ideal way to pregame.
Beat the heat (or Rain)
We offer an indoor alternative to traditional game day tailgating, just steps from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, perfect for alumni, families, and large groups. With no noon game day kickoffs scheduled for the 2025 season, tailgating will take place during the hottest hours of the day, making this indoor option a cool, comfortable, weatherproof and hassle-free experience.

Enjoy 14 bowling lanes and challenge friends at our foosball tables, ping pong tables, pool tables, snooker table, air hockey table, and console gaming stations, including Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X with Game Pass and College Football 25. We also offer a variety of board games. Plus, catch every moment on 11 HD TVs streaming pregame coverage and college football action.
STRESS FREE SET UP & Walk to the swamp
You’ll be in the heart of the action with your own private getaway, just a short 0.2 mile or 3-minute walk to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy before heading to the game. Experience a hassle-free game day with no setup or cleanup required.
Catering Options
Catering is available through Palm & Pine Catering, with menu options from Chick-fil-A, Einstein Bros. Bagels, and Subway. All orders must be placed separately through the Palm & Pine Catering website. No outside food or drink permitted.

PRICING
- Space Rental: The Reitz Union Game Room can be reserved for the four hours leading up to kickoff, with a capacity of 200 people at a total cost of $4,000. This fee covers the rental of the space only and does not include tax, parking, add-ons, or food and beverage catering fees. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, and requests require at least 10 business days to process. Secure your spot early.
