Trained service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, are welcome at the Reitz Union Hotel. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted. Be advised if substantial cleaning or sanitizing is required in the room, this may result in extra fees to the credit card on file for the reservation.

Our standard check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Early arrivals or late departures may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis, pending room availability. Additional fees may apply for early arrival or late departure.

An attempt will be made to contact hotel guests regarding any found items on the hotel floors. Guests wishing to have items shipped to their home must email a prepaid shipping label to reitzunionhoteldesk@ufsa.ufl.edu. Found items will be retained for 30 days. Items remaining beyond 30 days will be donated or discarded.

Mail and packages often arrive at a centralized mail service center on campus before delivery to the Reitz Union Hotel. This can significantly delay package arrival dates and times. We recommend guests consider alternate options for delivery to a different destination to ensure items are not received after guests departure date.

Any tax exemptions must be posted before the charges run in our reservation system. If you are not using a University of Florida purchasing card, you will be required to provide a copy of your tax exemption certificate by check-in. Tax exempt certificates can be emailed to reitzunionhoteldesk@ufsa.ufl.edu.

The use of all tobacco products is prohibited on the entire University of Florida campus,  which includes the entire Reitz Union facility and hotel. Learn more here.
